Meet Your Guides
We would like to welcome you to join our groups in Italy and Greece for a friendly and informative approach to improving your skiing.
We aim to provide a complete contrast to ski school. Firstly, we speak English! Secondly we do not believe in teaching large groups and rushing you through with the focus on "we'll get you down a black run by the end of the week'! Our approach is to run two small groups of differing ability and experience, with the aim of bringing out the best in you without pressure, and with the emphasis on fun.
We accommodate singles, couples and families and we recognise that within a group there are all standards and learning rates, because of this we tailor our groups to suit the individual and not the strongest.
I have been skiing for around twenty years and teaching for over half of that!
I first qualified as a Military (MILSKI) ski instructor in the mid eighties when I was fortunate enough to be posted in Cyprus.
Since those early days I now hold BASI Ski Instructor, English Ski Council Coaching Scheme certificate and Snowsports Scotland Instructor certificate. I have been instructing at all levels now for many years.
Without any doubt I really enjoy what I do and passing on my knowledge (Cliff's "the school of knocks") to those I ski with. But get me in knee deep powder and watch the smile grow.
Quee HobbsI first skied thirty years ago, and fell in love with it then. After a long gap I came to Hemel Ski Centre to learn to ski 1999. I became so hooked on it that I was always at the ski centre and eventually everyone there suggested I train to be a ski instructor.
I gained my English Ski Council Club Instructor qualification in 2001 and went on to gain my Scottish Snowsports Instructor in 2003.
I have recently added to my qualifications by becoming a Scottish Snowsports Alpine Ski Leader.
I am very passionate about both the sport and the coaching and love being in the mountains.
